For the last month or so Ethan has become very interested in the alphabet. He started by pointing to letters on Mom's shirt and asking what they were. When we were visiting Grandma Taylor last weekend he had so much fun playing with her magnet letters and practicing naming them. We couldn't resist but get him his own letters to play with. They have been such a hit. He carries them all around the house telling us what they are (he doesn't always get them right yet). He never has really liked bath time before, but now we have trouble getting him to leave the tub. Learning his letters has really helped his vocabulary and pronunciation improve a lot.
We can't believe how fast our baby has grown!! This week she weighs approx. 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is over 18 1/2 inches long. Only one more week and she'll be full-term. Jen has been taking a break from attending her step aerobics class because she was concerned about contractions it was bringing on. After this week she plans on going back in hopes that she can work the baby out sooner.
Handsome newborn baby boy!

Jen--good luck with your last little bit! I still can't believe that you're about ready for this new baby. And that's awesome that you're doing aerobics at 8-9 months pregnant!
Ethan looks so much like Kyle in the bathtub picture! Less than a month to go. It like time went so fast. Probably because we really just keep in touch on a weekly basis now through our blogs. Have you convinced Kyle to do aerobics with you yet? I bet he would... he once hot-waxed the hair off of his legs you know.
Let me rephrase the last post. The picture of Ethan in the bathtub looks so much like Kyle. I don't want people to get the wrong idea...
Ethan is looking so big! And I can't believe that your little girl is almost here! :) Elizabeth loves the letters too. I bought some of the bath letters and then stuck magnets on the back. She loves playing with the big letters on our fridge. (And it's a great distraction when I'm trying to cook dinner!)
We can't wait to see you back at aerobics!
You go, Jen! That's awesome that you're working out. I just sit on my duff and eat ice cream sandwiches. Ethan is so cute in the tub. Every time you post a picture he looks a little more grown up. I hope all goes well for you in these last few weeks!
