More Booties

Here are a couple more recently finished booties. They've been fun to make and fun to give away. I only have the boots left (which I finished last night). I think they are my favorite so far.

These boots mark the 6th pair of booties/shoes that I've made (not including some doll sized ones I made for Brooklyn's dolly). I feel like I've been able to whip them out pretty quickly, though, I think I need to slow down a bit since my right hand is starting to feel tired and overworked (even typing I can feel that my hand isn't quite itself). :(

Kyle's been working a whole lot of overtime the last few days. He went to work at 6 am yesterday and didn't get home until 1 am this morning. He'll be working today and tomorrow although they are days off too. I'm so glad that this doesn't happen very often.
They kids and I had lots of fun picking some of the first of our peas yesterday. We're so glad that Ethan still likes them. He loved them last year, but was quite hesitant to try them again this year (and won't eat frozen peas anymore). We have to keep a close eye on Brooklyn while we are in the yard so she doesn't rip out whole plants. We've already had several casualties this year. She loves to snack on lettuce and spinach by herself too. It is so fun to have such eager helpers in the garden. We are really looking forward to this summer with the kids. They are both at such fun stages!
Now I think I should give my hands some rest.

You are quite the crocheter (is that a word?). :) I love the white booties! I actually have that same boots pattern, too. Did you get it from etsy? I made them a while back (maybe January?) and recently made another smaller pair that almost fits Britta right now.

It's amazing that you are able to whip out such cute booties in such a short amount of time! Even at being a novice at crocheting! They are really adorable. I would love to make some myself but I honestly don't think that my hands will cooperate with me. I have tried crocheting in the past and it just didn't work out for me!

So cute! Sorry to hear that Kyle has been working late. We know how fast that gets old... hopefully it'll pass soon.

Those are so cute! You are so talented it's not even funny! Would you mind dropping some of that in a package and mailing it to me? Thanks!

Those booties and boots are some of the cutest I have ever seen! Well done! And yay for eager garden helpers... especially when they're willing to eat your harvest. :)
