Fun at the Park

The other night, Dad took Ethan to the park just around the corner from our house to give Mom a break. Ethan learned how to go down the slide all by himself. It was really cute. So cute, we're posting some footage of it here. (Note that some of the footage is sped up so it doesn't get too boring.) He went up and down the slide probably fifteen times.

Ethan also had a lot of fun swinging on the swing.
With the Olympics coming, Ethan is getting excited for his career in boxing. Just kidding. He just loves having any kind of gloves on his hands, even video boxes. Here he is wearing oven mitts. (Note that they are on the wrong hands...)
Now that we know that we're having a girl, we've been hitting up the garage sales to start collecting clothes. We found a bunch of clothes, and Jen doesn't want to put them away, because seeing them laying out on the couch makes her excited. It's fun to think about.

This week our daughter is as long as a banana.

Ethan is so cute running around with oven mitts on! I know I say it all the time, but I can't believe how fast he's grown. And now he'll be a big brother, whew! Time zooms by! Love all the cute girlie stuff!

I love Ethan's jibber-jabber! So funny! I'm totally not surprised to see that you've already been garage sale hunting for girl clothes. Looks like fun!
